English lessons for patients of the Daily Psychiatric Department

As part of the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy (CSR), SZPZLO Warszawa-Ochota organized free weekly English language lessons for patients of the Daily Psychiatric Department. A language course is one of the ways to diversify therapy for people staying in the ward. A properly trained lector prepares educational materials for participants and conducts classes.
The aim of the program is to help people with disabilities who are looking for opportunities to improve their professional qualifications. Language learning also contributes to the self-esteem of patients and improves the effectiveness of therapy. The knowledge of English is used in everyday life, e.g. when shopping or using multimedia devices.
At the end of the program, participants receive certificates confirming their participation in the course.
