The Independent Complex of Public Open Healthcare Facilities Warsaw-Ochota is implementing the grant project entitled "Support for Primary Healthcare (POZ)" based on an agreement concluded with the National Health Fund. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 Programme. The total value of the Project is PLN 1,250,000,000.00, of which the contribution from European Funds is PLN 996,375,000.00.

SZPZLO Warszawa-Ochota received a grant of PLN 450,000.00 for the implementation of the Project. Within the funds received:

  1. we will purchase medical equipment and supplies for diagnostic activities, preventive services, strengthening home care for patients and physiotherapy care,
  2. we will purchase server and network equipment, computer hardware and ICT software,
  3. we will carry out construction works in the scope of infrastructure necessary to conduct medical activities.

 

The project is aimed at all entities performing medical activities and having an agreement with the National Health Fund to provide services within the framework of primary healthcare, and its effects will be available to the patients of the facility.

Main goals of the Project:

  • increasing access to primary healthcare services operating in economically less developed areas and rural areas, as well as areas at risk of loss/limitation of access to primary healthcare, by providing appropriate support in providing these entities with the necessary equipment, including diagnostic equipment;
  • support for the infrastructure necessary to conduct medical activities, the aim of which will be to adapt and improve the functionality of premises to the expanded health services in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment at the primary healthcare level in the context of the development of coordinated care;
  • increasing the accessibility and efficiency of the healthcare system in terms of eliminating regional differences in access to health services.

 

Expected results of the Project:

  • increased access to basic and specialist health services;
  • better protection of citizens' health and well-being from environmental threats and negative impacts;
  • opening new primary health care facilities, especially in areas with lower population density;
  • improving the quality of health services provided and strengthening the resilience of the medical system.
