Modernized and Modern Medical Centre in Ochota Is Waiting for Its Patients

Dear friends,
We are pleased to announce that on February 24, 2021, the official opening of the updated part of the District Specialist Medical Centre at 36 Szczęśliwicka Street took place. The first floor of the center, which houses a primary healthcare clinic for healthy and sick children, the registration hall, as well an X-ray and ultrasound laboratory on the second floor, were modernized and renovated.
As part of the modernization and renovation, construction, electrical installation and plumbing works were carried out. The architectural layout of the exterior and interior entrances was rebuilt and changed along with the replacement of the doors. Replaced and installed plumbing with toiletries, adapted to the needs of the people with disabilities. Along with the replacement of plumbing fixtures, water supply and sewerage systems with pipes were also replaced. As part of the electrical installation work, the electrical systems were replaced with a complete replacement of all cables and end elements (sockets, switches, lamps) with new ones.
The registration hall was equipped with information terminals, ticket machines, and an audio-visual queue system. These devices will definitely improve the check-in experience and reduce patient waiting time.
Our youngest patients, both at the Healthy and Sick Children Clinics, will also be able to use modern amenities. The rooms were equipped with interactive walls for entertainment and games, the so-called Magic Walls. Thanks to that, every visit to the doctor will be a pleasure for the little patient.
The department of X-ray and ultrasound examination, located on the second floor of the medical center, has also undergone a comprehensive modernization. It was equipped with the latest equipment for X-ray examinations and a device for visualizing the teeth and maxillofacial area. Modern infrastructure, combined with the experience of our specialists, will allow us to conduct safe and effective diagnostic tests.
The entire investment was financed from the subsidy of Warsaw City’s authorities and SZPZLO Warszawa-Ochota's own contribution.
From March 1 this year, patients will be able to use the new premises of the medical center.

The opening ceremony was attended by:
Ms. Renata Kaznowska - Deputy Mayor of Warsaw,
Ms. Eva Malinowska-Grupinska - Chairwoman of Warsaw City Council,
Ms Katarzyna Łęgiewicz - Mayor of the Ochota District,
Ms Ewa Kacprzak-Szymańska - Deputy Mayor of the Ochota District,
